Very simple mount. Yes I am going to do something about the mess of wires.
Also, palindrome.

Without an obvious steering wheel badge it’s impossible to tell which 2004-2009 GM product you bought!
Oh the mount? Good times. What is it displaying?

Not many places (one?) where you see kmh speedometers with supplementary mph figures.

Every car I’ve ever seen has little mph numbers under the kph!

Actually 2010... yeah. Pretty sure the wheel is from a Daewoo and the shifter is from an Uplander, but I haven’t been able to pin down any other shared interior parts. I found more parts bin stuff in the new Traverse, so that’s something I guess.
Yeah... just a piece of bent aluminum and some 3M trim tape. :) That display is all fuel economy in L/100km. I don’t really like that measurement, but if I did MPG it would be US MPG which is no good to me. There’s 6 other displays set up with stuff like average/current speed, throttle position, intake temp and so on... but the best toy is the performance timer.

Mexican market cars might also have them.

I thought England still went by MPH? how does that work out vs Europe without a system like that? (I’m including the ones that use one gauge and change units electronically)

Nice! Can I expect to be receiving mine in the mail soon?

I’ll give this to you for the shipping cost if you want though...

That’s pretty tempting.

Sad thing is...I looked at this and immediately went, “Colorado!”

I recently experienced a palindrome in the WRX. I started laughing because I thought it said SBOOBS. I have a long way to go before seeing that one. I’m close on the truck, but I don’t think it’s going to make it before I get rid of it.

Nah, its little brother. Just a Corvette.

Not me!
Canada?

GM. 4x4. DEFINITELY not a Silverado. Not all that difficult really, even if you didn’t know what it looked like :)

The UK still uses Imperial units and has speedos with supplementary kmh markings. The rest of Europe (in fact the rest of the world, nearly) has just kmh with no supplementary mph markings.
The unusual thing about the one shown is that it’s in kmh with supplementary mph which I think is Canada only.

Not Canada too! COME ON! IT’S ONLY A FEW DAMNED LETTERS! THERE’S NO EXCUSE FOR THAT!!!

Regular “BOOBS” are within my reach, but “SBOOBS” are something special. :)

Also maybe Mexico. But this is Canada, yeah.

As a Canadian... Sorry, eh.

Also, google “Chevette ZR1". For me most of the results were kijiji. You may be onto something.

You bought a modern Syclone?
![]() 09/12/2016 at 12:36 |

Kinda but not really. As close as you can get but it’s nowhere near Syclone performance...
I was referring to the UltraGauge.

Yeah, the fact that I grew up in a Colorado also helps.

Grew up in a Colorado... Now I’m trying to do the math on how old you are... Now I’m realizing the Colorado came out in 2004... Which was 12 years ago...
Time flies. 2004 doesn’t seem like long ago, but it’s more than half a lifetime ago for me.

Yup! Canada.

21. I’ve grown up in multiple Chevy trucks...the Colorado is the only one we still have.
